IT IS OUR PLEASURE TO WELCOME JEANNA BURKE,TO MY BOOK ADDICTION AND MORE TODAY…
MEET AUTHOR JENNA BAYLEY-BURKE!!!
MBA&M: Jenna, tell our readers a little about yourself?
JENNA: Thanks for having me over. I love that my job description requires blog hopping. You know how people tell you to do what you love, and then figure out a way to get paid for it? That’s what writing is for me. I get to tell stories about interesting people and exciting places and then talk about it with the people who read them. Plus, my affinity for buying romance novels by the bag full? Research.
MBA&M: What if anything made you decide to write this genre?
JENNA: I grew up in a small town where when people asked what you wanted to be when you grew up, most girls said teacher or nurse. One vacation at my grandmother’s I started reading her Harlequin Romances and my world opened up. There were all these great jobs – flight attendant, interior designer, accountant – and exciting places like Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis. Romance novels widened my view of the world, and I fell in love. We have a very healthy relationship to this day.
MBA&M: When you aren’t writing, what are some of your hobbies/passions/interests?
JENNA: Photography. The hero in my next release, Drive Me Crazy, is an amateur photographer, so I had to take a couple classes to learn about it. Total job requirement. I also love to cook. Now that I’m working more, I have less time for it, but I love it. And I like to go on dates – with my husband! Last year we did some really fun stuff like rafting, kayaking, snowshoeing, and a walking tour of local restaurants.
MBA&M: What are some of your favorite books, authors, passions, interests and hobbies?
JENNA: I have such fun with my kiddos, they are a passion of mine. I like seeking out things that I hope they’ll remember. Plus, they inherited my love of board games, so I can always get a game of backgammon going. But not chess. Both my boys can beat me now. I love trying new things – be it a helicopter tour, mud facial, or pole dancing. I figure I’ll be able to work most anything into a book at some point.
MBA&M: What is something you’d like to accomplish in your writing career that you have not yet done?
JENNA: I’d love to make a big list – New York Times or USA Today. Compromising Positions lived on the Amazon bestseller list for a while, and I loved how my heart swelled with pride whenever anyone mentioned it. I’d also like to have a book club book, the kind people enjoy together. Who am I kidding, I want the book clubs to invite me over to schmooze, and I want there to be champagne and chocolate.
MBA&M: Now tell our readers where to find you and where your books are available?
JENNA: You can find all the links for tracking me down on Facebook, Twitter, and the rest on my website, www.jennabayleyburke.com. I like to say that my books float on the Amazon river, but I’m a Nook person, so I have to mention Barnes & Noble.

Product Description(from amazon)
If the shoe fits…run with it!
Breeze Cohen senses something is missing from her life, but her career doesn’t leave time for anything but retail business strategy—particularly the upcoming product launch for her cornerstone client, Nitrous.
No way is she going to let live-for-the-moment Logan Chandler tarnish her professional reputation. Even if the ex-athlete poster boy for Nitrous makes her heart pound like she’s run a marathon.
After surviving a near-fatal accident, Logan doesn’t want to waste a minute of life. It’s meant to be lived, ravished, enjoyed—and there’s no one he’d like to ravish more than Breeze. There’s a deep pool of mutual desire beneath her icy façade. He can feel it every time they touch.
When a training snafu at Nitrous launches Breeze into damage control, Logan is ready and waiting to lace up and take her for a run on the wilder side—if he can catch her.
Warning: Side effects may include a desire to melt chocolate with body heat, spontaneous phone sex, and an intense drive to find loopholes in your workplace fraternization policy.

Champagne and chocolate sound like great things to have at a book club.
One of my favs, chocolate, can’t live without. The other is books, got to have a great books to read at all timers. For Kicks sounds like a great book and can’t wait to read. Thanks for the opportunity to enter giveaway. Love those GC and the awesome books I can purchase.
Delightful and special post. yes, books are a must as well as treats such as mille-feuilles.
I think photography is such a fun hobby, whether you are a profressional or not. I like playing with my camera and capturing moments in different ways. It’s sort of how I like stories; seeing them in different way. Cambonified(at)yahoo(dot)com
Fun and interesting post. I love photography, though I’m not very good at it. Can’t wait to read For Kicks to see what happens between Breeze and Logan.

I love chocolate and coffee. I also can’t wait to read your book!
Thanks everyone 🙂 I love book clubs. I find readers seem at ease and willing to share what they really think about a story, an author, or even method of getting the word out. I used to give away a copy of a book on blog posts like this, but some of my favorite readers pointed out that they buy the book when it comes out, so don’t benefit. This release I’m doing e-gift cards in their honor. Hope it works as well as book giveaways did 😀
Oh…and I am not a fabulous photographer. I’ve had two all-day classes and still wind up shooting in automatic mode most of the time!
It’s so nice to meet you, Jenna. I’ve always wanted to be the person who took beautiful pictures – every now and then I manage to get lucky and get a lovely nature shot. I must say that melting chocolate with body heat and spontaneous phone sex sound like a lot of fun and I’m thinking I will have to surprise DH!! For Kicks sounds like a good read – will be checking out your website for more goodies. Thanks for a fun interview/visit.
