Product Description

Lorna Whitaker will do anything for her nine-year-old son, Johnny—even if it means asking his late father’s family for help. Cast out by the Whitaker clan after her husband, Richard, accused her of
being unfaithful, Lorna has been struggling to make ends meet as a single mom ever since. But desperation finally forces her to turn to Richard’s older brother, Matthew. The last thing she expects is to fall for the man…Matthew Whitaker is struck by the reappearance of his brother’s former wife, and the very un-brotherly feelings Lorna inspires in him. Though he’s eager to explore the new chemistry between them, he still can’t trust her—and he still doesn’t believe Johnny is his nephew…

MY THOUGHTS:

WINTERGREEN by Jennifer
Greene is an interesting contemporary romance. It has romance, hot
sex,misunderstandings, betrayal,family,abandonment,forgiveness,healing,finding
true love and happiness.
When Lorna Whitaker needs
money for her nine young old son she turns to the one person she said she never
would her ex-brother-in-law,Matthew Whitaker.Together they learn healing and
forgiveness and find happiness while fighting their attraction. This is a quick
read that is fast paced and keep you turning pages. Lorna’s son Johnny is
adorable, although a bit troublesome at times. Lorna was cast aside by her
ex-husband who has since died and his father for something they believed she
done,(commit a adultery).Lorna was always close to her husband’s older brother
Matthew.Matthew NEVER thought to find himself attracted to his ex-sister-in-law.
This author has written a compelling, tender story full of emotional
baggage, misunderstandings and the power of love, and trust. Received for review
from Net Galley and the publisher for my honest opinion. Details can be found at
Carina Press.
