MY THOUGHTS:

THE SWEETEST THING by Jill Shalvis follows SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE by honestly you can read it as a stand alone. The biggest thing will be you’ll want to read Maddie‘s story. Now for THE SWEETEST THING, this was a great read. It was fast-paced, emotional, sexy, and fun. The characters are believable and keep you deeply engaged with the story. You will see characters that you’ll love and characters you’ll be eager to see get their own story. There are a couple of “teary-eye” moments as Ms. Shalvis does touch on some very emotional events. But to offset those are moments that will have you laughing out loud. This is a great contemporary romance that is sure to find it’s way onto your keeper shelf. I’d highly recommend THE SWEETEST THING to all fans of great romances especially those dealing with second chances.
