From the Publisher

Twelve years ago, forensic anthropologist Jamie Cash survived a brutal kidnapping, torture, and rape. After years of therapy, she has made a life for herself–though one that is haunted by memories of her terrifying past. She finally lets herself get close to a man, FBI agent Dakota Richards, when signs start appearing that point to one frightening fact–her attacker is back and ready to finish the job he started all those year ago. Can she escape his grasp a second time? And will she ever be able to let down her guard enough to find true love?

Filled with heart-stopping suspense, gritty realism, and a touch of romance, Don’t Look Back is the second book in the WOMEN OF JUSTICE series. Readers will be hooked from the beginning, finding that once you are in Lynette Eason’s world, you’re trapped until you turn the very last page.

MY THOUGHTS:

DON’T LOOK BACK by Lynnette Eason is an awesome inspiration romantic suspense set in modern day Spartansburg, South Carolina. It is the second in the Women of Justice series but can be read as a stand alone. The first in this series was Too Close To Home. It is well written with details, depth, turns, and twists. First let me say what a roller coaster, thrill of a ride this story is. Warning: This is not for the faint of heart. It has horrific crime scenes, terror, abuse, a stalker, a serial killer, secrets, danger, romance, faith, family, FBI, CSI, love, detailed criminology and anthropologist. The hero, Dakota, is tough, FBI agent, past family abuse, determined to catch a serial killer, keep Jamie safe, and falling in love with the heroine, Jamie. The heroine, Jamie, is a survival, an anthropologist, survived a brutal attack twelve years ago, keeps her faith through all her trials, being stalked by the serial killer who happens to be her attacker from twelve years ago, she is slowly learning to trust and falling in love with the hero, Dakota. The serial killer, is determined to finish what he started some twelve years ago, for Jamie is the only one to survive his brutal, delusional attacks. You will be surprised who the killer actually is and who is accomplice is. This is at fast paced, page turner, don’t read alone or late at night, for you will be wondering who is watching you. This is a must read and a keeper. Once again this author has created an awesome inspirational romantic suspense.I would recommend this book especially if you enjoy true suspense, romance and criminology.
