Susie. I was fourteen when I was murdered on December 6, 1973.”
Susie. I was fourteen when I was murdered on December 6, 1973.”
So begins the story of Susie Salmon, who is
adjusting to her new home in heaven, a place that is not at all what she
expected, even as she is watching life on earth continue without her — her
friends trading rumors about her disappearance, her killer trying to cover his
tracks, her grief-stricken family unraveling. Out of unspeakable tragedy and
loss, THE LOVELY BONES succeeds, miraculously, in building a tale filled with
hope, humor, suspense, even joy.

I am so there to see the movie. I had a friend that actually told me about the book a while ago and she was the first to tell me that they were making a movie out of the book. I’d love to read the book before I go see the movie!

Yes, I plan to watch the movie…on DVD. Twenty dollars isn’t too much for me to pay to watch a movie over and over again. In the privacy of my own home, too. And without the temptation of the Evil Lobby, which offers fattening fats, salty salts, and greasy grease. Ten dollars fr a movie (though it is The Lovely Bones) is ridiculous. For twice that I can watch the movie as many times as I want…with a boring salad in my lap. *sighes* Life isn’t fair.
I probably won’t watch the movie as I’m not a fan of movies based on books; they usually disappoint. The book sounds great, though. Thanks for the great giveaway!
The review is so good, count me in.
Rachel Weisz should have been always the leading lady of the Mummy movies because she really fits that role .
