Recently I got the American Patriot’s Bible. And I have to tell you all it’s a great Bible. At this time of year I wanted a Bible that would reflect my feelings and answer questions I’d had about the America of my fore-fathers. This bible does that and more. It’s a wonderful study Bible, as well as great as an educational Bible for my children and me. The cover, the images, the Family history in the beginning, the commentaries, all of it add up to offer a great Bible. Honestly it makes me WANT to read the Bible. The ease with which I could read this Bible and offer things to my children is probably what I found the most exciting. There are lessons to be taught on the history of our country and on the Bible in general. There is never a feeling of someone trying to make me feel one way or the other, or to believe that Jesus was American at heart. This is more a lesson on how the Bible was connected to the making of this great country and what a great time of year to have it. There is a quote on the back of this Bible
“Inside the Bible’s pages lie the answers to all of the problems that mankind has ever known. I hope Americans will read and study the Bible. The Bible can touch our hearts, order our minds, and refresh our souls. Ronald Reagan, 40th President”
That quote pretty much says it all to me. If you are in need of a new Bible or would like to take another look at the beginning of this great country I’d suggest you add THE AMERICAN PATRIOT’S BIBLE to your to buy list today. It’s a wonderful addition to any library even if you are not a Christian, the lessons we learn while reading this Bible will make it a family treasure for generations to come.

No, no, no, Wendy. This is horrible on so many levels. It confuses American history with salvation history. It attempts to supplement Scripture with sentimental musings. Please, please, please revisit this idea. Check out my blog to see some thoughts. Also, check out what Greg Boyd says about it.
Blessings.
