What advice I have for writers – that’s a huge one. I guess the most important advice is to never give up. Develop a tough skin and always get up off the ground when the going gets tough, brush yourself off, and keep going. There are always rejections in this business, whether it’s from a query letter to an agent, or a bad review once you’re published. You have to believe in what you’re doing and really want it, and keep persevering. I guess that’s good advice for any goal or pursuit, writing or otherwise.
Yes, I’m going to RWA! Can’t wait. Although I should have booked the larger room. I went for location instead of square footage 🙂
My favorite author: a tough question. So hard to narrow down. In romance, I like Lisa Kleypas, Jo Beverley, Mary Balogh, Judith James (a debut author), Liz Carlysle, but the list could go on :).
