From Beth Kerry’s website:
He wanted all of her…
Vic Savian knows what he wants when he sees it. And what he wants is his sexy neighbor, Niall Chandler. So when he sees her in the hallway of their building being harassed by an aggressive suitor, Vic makes his move—and finds himself greatly rewarded…
And did she ever let him have it…
Sleeping with her gorgeous neighbor—when she didn’t even know his last name—was the craziest thing Niall’s ever done. Now, she can’t seem to get enough of Vic—or the uninhibited passion he stirs in her. Suddenly, with his help, she’s opening to sensual pleasures she’s never known before. But when Niall’s past comes back to haunt her, will she and Vic let themselves venture beyond the bedroom and explore the possibility of love that’s in their hearts?
I read this book for a book group I’m part of. It was a very quick read. One I wasn’t sure what I’d make of it. I’ll admit I’m new to the ummm steamier side of romances. I’ve read a few here and there. Mostly I find that some of the scenes make no sense to me. I don’t get sex with alot of people. I don’t get sex without a little feeling behind it or a relationship to build on. I don’t get sex for the sake of sex. So when I found we were going to read this story I couldn’t help but wonder if it’d be another story without a story. If that makes sense. Was I shocked? Yes. Some scenes were/are extremely more ummm vocal? than I’m used to. With that said let me say that this story had a wonderful story behind the sex. There were some very heated scenes, one in particular was really “wicked”.LOL There is a great plot to this story and the characters are very realistic and come across very strong. My only complaint might be some of the language. I had to wonder if the story would have worked as well without some of the language. But outside that it’s a great story. I read it quickly last night. Stayed up all night to read it. I think I finally went to bed around 4am. There is a character named Donny that I want to see again. This is a wonderfully sweet, refreshingly well cast story of romance with some really hot love scenes. I am eager now to read more from Ms. Kerry.

Hey Wendy:
I’m pleased you liked “Wicked Burn”, I loved this book and wrote a review on my blog a couple of days ago.
I thought is was exceptionally well written.
Regards
Hey Lea,
I read your review!!!! It was awesome, WOW. You write such great reviews. It was a very well written story. That’s one thing I truly enjoyed. I’m finding that while I assumed and was told that alot of these “hotter” books are more sex, without a story. So far I’ve done well and only found one or two to be that way. Most seem to have a story behind them. Any other suggestions for similar stories?
hugs,
WendyK
